This has been a “go-to” substitute lesson for me! The videos and worksheets make it super easy for another teacher to jump in. “Pre-teach” the lesson at the start of the school year so that your students know what to expect.
1) Introduce the worksheet template and review music note values and how to count them.
2) Explain how to count the exercise moves or use my video that explains how to make your workout.
3) Create a musical workout as a class, or use my demo video to practice and try it all together.
4) Have students create their own workouts by writing down their own moves and music note values on their sheets.
5) Practice along with the Interval Timer Video
6) REPEAT with new exercise move ideas anytime you want to repeat the lesson, or use it with a substitute teacher!
